I work with high-performing senior leaders at critical inflection points — when succession readiness, stakeholder confidence, and enterprise trust matter. In these moments, perception and influence are as important as capability.

Chris Eisinger, M.A., PCC Chris Eisinger

Early in my career, I learned there is a way to be fully seen and heard at work — to receive honest, challenging feedback and still feel like someone is completely in your corner. That moment changed everything for me.

I was a graduate student when I first understood what coaching could actually do.

A guest speaker came to class — an executive coach. She didn't lecture. Instead, she provided context for her work and then began asking us questions. At first the questions were surface level. Then as the conversation evolved, she picked up a thread, and the questions became deeper - more powerful. By the end of that class we were all changed because she coached us. Right there, in a graduate school classroom, she created a space where real things could be said and heard. I remember thinking: this is it. This is what I want to be part of.

What struck me wasn't just the technique. It was the experience of feeling genuinely seen at work — not in a therapeutic way, but in a direct, honest, this-is-what-I-observe-and-here's-what-it-means way. That combination of clarity and care felt rare. It still does.

"There is a way to receive challenging feedback and still feel like someone is completely in your corner. That day I understood what that felt like — and I knew I wanted to create it for others."

That conviction deepened as I learned to conduct 360 feedback debriefs. I discovered I could create a safe space quickly, deliver difficult observations directly, and make the person feel we were in it together. People I trained told me I had a gift for it. I believed them — not out of arrogance, but because it felt effortless in a way that told me I was in the right work.

I am, at heart, a one-on-one person.

I am more introvert than extrovert. I do facilitate groups, and I do coaching demonstrations — and those moments are often the highlight of the group's experience. But what I love most, what feels most natural, is the 1:1 space. The conversation that can go somewhere real because it doesn't have an audience.

In that space I am direct. I notice things quickly. I name what I see without softening it into uselessness, and I hold it alongside genuine investment in the person across from me. My clients tell me that combination — honesty and care together — is what makes the work actually move.

Coaching feels like a natural fit for my personality, my talents, and the needs of the people I work with. Twenty years in, that hasn't changed.

Over two decades as a corporate organization development executive, I watched what made leaders effective and what quietly derailed them. I brought that knowledge into my coaching practice and built something I believe in: rigorous, diagnostic, deeply human work that changes how leaders show up and how they are experienced.

where they are next level

The gap I kept seeing became the work I had to do.

The skills that earn someone a promotion are rarely the skills that make them exceptional at the level they just reached. And almost no one tells them that directly. They're expected to figure it out — through observation, through friction, through feedback that often arrives too late to be useful.

That gap — between where a leader is and what their next chapter actually requires — became the work I wanted to do. I became a coach because I wanted to be in that conversation earlier. Before the derailment. Before the missed opportunity. When a leader is ready to do something intentional with their growth rather than simply reactive.

Today, Christina Eisinger Coaching is built around a conviction I've held since the beginning: leadership development shouldn't be left to chance or circumstance — especially when the stakes are high and an organization has made a real investment in a person's trajectory.
